gold, it’s still in cali

so apparently some californians are fighting the recession by panning for gold in the desert. that bodes well for me since i plan on moving to california after graduation. so if the whole lawyer thing doesn’t work out or if they push back my start date, i’m taking my bar and deferral stipend, buying mining equipment and heading to the desert. really awesome plan. go cali. way to create jobs. good job governator.

i mean i guess it makes sense since gold prices have doubled in the past few years and you have to love the spirit of the people doing the mining. it’s really american. one guy said that panning for gold was like being a modern day pirate. i’m actually not sure what that means but i’ve always wanted to be a pirate.
