spring cleaning (i know it’s may)
i’m not sure where the idea of spring cleaning came from, but it seems like a good idea. maybe because it’s too cold outside to take out the trash, but i’ve accumulated a bunch of crap in my apartment during the winter (it might also be because I live on the top floor of a four story walkup and am lazy). earlier this week i also felt like one more thing needed cleaning.
my bowels.
for the past few weeks i’ve felt constantly full. not like the top of the stomach full you get from eating at a buffet. but more like the lower stomach full from eating lots of processed food. having read and indexed my emails which allude to my various nyc, philly and chinatown escapades, mama google knew that i was much in need of a cleanup and suggested the link http://www.blessedherbs.com. yes, i get the idea.
i clicked on the link because i couldn’t resist the tagline, “over 100,000 cleansed since 1985.” over 100,000, it must be righteous.
having reviewed the site in its entirety, here are my findings.
pros: over 100,000 served. teaches us that even pretty girls poo. 21 day free trial. uses “results” as a nice euphamism for turd. encourages the use of chopsticks.
cons: the webpage looks like a 12 year old designed it using tripod. all the “results” look like people have been eating plastic barbies for decades. pretty girls “pass” some nasty objects.
i was inspired, but not that inspired.
i decided to go au naturale and headed over to terminal market to buy some fruit.
